Bursaries & Financial Assistance

The WLND board of directors believes that progressive education should be accessible to all families. Our bursary program aims to make our programming attainable for eligible families who align with our school's policies and values but find school fees a financial burden. This document outlines the criteria for bursary eligibility and the limits on bursary amounts per family.

Bridge Bursary

The Bridge Bursary is available to help families who may face sudden financial difficulties. This Bursary is designed to help families with short-term financial needs. Application for this bursary is made possible through the principal and Financial Administrator.

Community Bursary

The Community Bursary helps families afford WLND by covering part of the annual school fees. Recognizing that some families cannot pay the total tuition, this bursary supports the board's commitment to making progressive education more accessible. The bursary amount is determined based on individual needs and available funding.

How to apply for Community Bursary: Please fill out an application form for admissions, indicating you are interested in a bursary. We will send you a financial assistance questionnaire. Please fill it out and return it. We may follow up with a phone call or request to meet in person.

Don't let the cost of tuition hold you back. If your child would be a good fit for our program and money is the only barrier, please don't hesitate to apply.
